Oldeirish

This was a Christmas gift for my Dad, one project partially responsible for the blog silence of December.  I finished it with time to spare, but was not able to frame it before the holiday.  I’ve ordered a handsome custom frame, which should arrive this week.  It was a quick stitch and I enjoyed it, despite some difficulties with counting/spacing.  (There is a lot of empty space on this design!)  Also, the “blackwork” shamrocks down the right side were fun; I’ve never used that technique before.
