1. Fairy Wind by Joan Elliott was finished on February 11, with 5 days effort and 3,375 st.

2. Father Christmas also by Joan Elliot was finished June 2, after 20 days love and 13,830 stitches.

3. Making a Brew Trio by Durene Jones was finished February 23, following 8 days attention and 3,853 stitches.

4. Feather Fairy by Mirabilia was finished March 16, with 5 days love and 4,645 stitches.

5. Mickey Stained Glass by Neni Designs. My goal was 15 k progress. Mickey started the year at 18% complete, and ends the year at 85% complete, after 20,616 stitches and 27 days. I accidentally listed this one 4 x on my WiPgo board, did not realize until November and then decided to do an extra 5,000 st beyond my original 15,000 goal.

6. St. George and Dragon by Vermillion, another 15k progress goal. With 18 days, I managed 16, 223 stitches. I finished the bottom half, including border, backstitched a lot of the border, then started on the upper half.

7. Poltergeist Pirates by Glendon Place, another 15 k goal which I blew out of the water with 32,108 stitches in 30 days and and finished on December 2.

8. The Fourth of July by Les Petites Croix de Lucie was finished February 5, with 3 days effort and 1,920 stitches.

9. Halloween Train by AuthorEmbroiDesign (etsy) was finished April 17, with 11 days attention and 6,078 stitches.

10. Ornaments! My initial goal was 12, including 3 wips. I upped that to 15 (3 wips and 12 start + finish). First, the Christmas ones: Santa Cruiser by Satsuma Street, Tis the Season by Tracy Richards, Joy to the World by Olena Khirk-Yalan, Peace on Earth by Punochka, Time for Christmas by Corina Ciocanu, Gilded Snowflake by Deb Bees,Christmas Star by Giulia Manfredini , Christmas Morning by Mr. Stitch & Mrs. Needle , Winter Woodland by Patricia Bage, Snow Baby Skater by Leisure Arts, Lighting the Way by Elizabeth Spurlock, Poinsettia Fairy by Kathleen Berlew

Besides those 12, I did a few for other holidays: Goofy Gourds by Svitlana Hrybach, Count Catula by Tatiana Romero, and Egg with Tulips by Coricamo (etsy). Also, I completed a couple smalls, Cross Stitch Coat of Arms (3 days, 2,152 stitches) by Fiddlesticks AU, and Nobody is Home (4 days, 4073 stitches) by Stitch Sprouts (the text is my addition).

11. New starts and finishes! Winter Bellpull by Stoney Creek (32 days, 27,055 st) was stitched all through the year with Semisane Calendar SAL and finished in early December. This is my last of the Stoney Creek seasonal bell pulls!

Belinda Botanica (16 days, 14,325 stitches) by Bella Filipina was started in April and finished in August. She was such a fun project, with gorgeous colors and details.

Positivity Rules (11 days, 8,305 stitches) by Caterpillar Cross Stitch, was started in February and finished in July. It’s not my usual style, but it was a very fun project, and I may give it away as teacher gift.

Last by not least, Christmas Blue Angel by Joan Ellliott (25 days, 26, 191 st) was my third Joan Elliott finish of 2025, and the third of four in my self selected “Joan Elliott Christmas series” . She was a joy to stitch, even on the dark fabric. I couldn’t be more pleased with how she pops and the night time effect.

12. Framing, well I did 2 frame jobs, one of which was photographs, the other was cross stitch, both of which were gifts. Here’s Feather Fairy fully finished in a dark wood frame with gold inlay. The fabric is not at all wrinkled, sorry for the weird lighting. Time was short. My craft room (where I prefer to work on framing) is currently out of commission, but I will get the space back in 2026.

Overall, it was a really great stitchy year. I met all my goals, in terms of finishes (29!) and progress on those cantankerous wips, and achieved more than planned on those! WIPGO was great, I managed a blackout. The 25 x 2,025 yearly in Fandom Stitchers was a real challenge, but I prevailed and finished December 31. I also completed the yearly Scavenger Hunt with WIP Warriors. My final stitch count for 2025 is 249,956, and I stitched 292 days out of the 365. I’m quite satisfied with these stats. Of course I do have some continuing wips. More about that in the upcoming 2026 WIPocalypse Intro.
