Here’s my start of Celtic Christmas by Lavendar & Lace, stitched on 28 ct cashel in cream. I would like more Christmas projects to decorate with, and I already have Celtic Spring hanging on the wall. It would be great to switch them out at the appropriate time of year. I’d love to have the entire series someday.
Celtic Spring was my first start on linen, finished in 2006. Now, I stitch on evenweave almost exclusively. I do use Aida for some things, but it’s not my preference for anything with fractionals, or much negative space (unstitched fabric) exposed. I mostly stitch on 32 count fabric. This project’s coverage on 28 count isn’t great in my opinion, but it looks fine from further away.
