• Pattern by Dimensions Gold Petite
  • Materials: 18 count ivory aida, as kitted
  • Size: 5″ x 7″
  • Time to stitch: 2 years, mostly as UFO

Two happy dances in two days (I finished this the day after Emerald Mermaid)- I was well chuffed!

I used all the materials as kitted- the 18 count ivory aida is fine for stitching, altough all the confetti stitching makes for a very dense fabric in the end.  The threads are presorted, which makes things easier.

The pattern is fine, easy to read, no errors.  The Dimensions Gold Petite designs pack a lot of detail into a small package, it seems.  I chose this design as a companion to Voyage at Sea; the themes are complementary, obviously, but the colors schemes are different.  I want to use the same frame for both, but I think the matting will be different.  I plan to hang both in my guest bath.

Love the colors in this cross stitch. Please post a picture when it’s framed and hung up in the guest bathroom :>
