My name is Stephanie and I’m a new participant in the Stitch from Stash group.  Though, I’ve been doing my own stashbusting exercise since I’m a stay at home mom on a budget.  And I am lucky enough to have a huge stash of patterns, (almost) full collection of DMC, and a good amount of fabric- several years ago, I had a monthly “wishlist” subscription from Silkweaver Fabrics.   I don’t expect that I will “earning” much, as I tend to stitch large projects and my finishes are not exactly frequent.

This month I bought 4 spools of Kreinik from 123 stitch- which accounts for the $11.04 spent.  Unraveling of the “Vatican gold” is courtesy of my 17-month-old son.  He loves the shiny and sparkly!  These threads are necessary to finish Joan Elliott’s Christmas Angel, and as I finished the regular DMC cross stitching, I needed the Kreinik to continue.  

Another project is on the scroll bars presently, but I do intend to bring back the Christmas Angel soon, as I want to finish her by Thanksgiving.  This pattern has quite a lot of details to add- backstiching, beads, etc.
