The last lunar cycle was quite productive; I think Maynia energized my stitchy mojo.

When the moon was last waxing, I was working on page 9 of Love with a Capital L.  Previously:

Love L WIP 4-30-16 (1)

Currently:

Love L wip 6-18-16

I’ve worked on it twice (about 5 days total) since then.  Most recently, I completed page 10/12.  There is still a long way to go on this project though… the big “L” at the top, another 2 pages, an additional section with my wedding details, and the bottom border.

With the rest of May, I worked on Air Goddess.  Previously:

Air Goddess WIP 2-27-16

I finished and happy danced on May 31!

At the beginning of June, TW’s the Castle spent 5 days on the scroll bars.  Previously:

TW Castle WIP 5-15-16
I finished the Castle turrets and cleaned up all the parked threads, whilst beginning the dragon’s upper half.
TW Castle WIP 6-5-15
I am very happy with the progress.  At some point later this year, I will do all the back stitching I can with regular DMC (the rocky cliff and castle).  Back stitching the dragon requires metallic cords, which I don’t have yet.  Nevertheless, I think I’m well situated to finish this project next year, in 2017.
I spent 2 days working on 12 Days of Christmas; progress blogged here.
Then I spent a week with my Mask of Colors QS.  Previous progress:
Mask of Colors WIP 5-15-16
Currently:

She’s almost finished- about 900 stitches to go!  I hope to happy dance by June 30th. My 2016 WIPocalypse goal was to reach the 75% mark, so I am thrilled to exceed that.
I also got a few days work on Maiden & Unicorn. That one is still in progress, so no pic yet, sorry!  But I should be able to show you a nice chunk of progress next month.

Questions of the Month: Do you find yourself more productive with stitching in summer or winter?

Generally I’m more productive in winter, because I spend more time indoors during cold weather.  But my knitting mojo is dormant.  When I knit, I’m more productive with stitching in the summer.  Stitching is much cooler than working with a pile of warm wool on your lap.
My plans for the next lunar cycle….I will split the last week of June between finishing Mask and working on the Summer Bellpull.  Then it’s Christmas in July- I’ll be working on my Xmas projects and hopefully doing some framing, complete with a framing tutorial for my Flosstube channel.  Happy stitching everyone!

Great work on all your WIPS this month. I stitched The Castle many years ago and love it still.
