Earth Goddess floss toss

I started my second of the elemental goddess series on July 19 and spent 3 days on her; the 3rd day was somewhat of a wash since I woke up sick and felt poorly enough that I didn’t even want to stitch.  That was a rough time.  Stay at home moms don’t get sick days, eh?  I eventually did some of the green grass in the evening hours.  She is stitched on “Highland” belfast by Picture this Plus, a light green with darker green streaks.

Earth Goddess WIP 7-21-16

This is a great example of the cross country style stitching I prefer on non- cgi charts.  I put in about 7 colors, but not much is solidly stitched (yet). The light green grass is stitched to the right and bottom edges of the chart, however.  It will be fun to get back to this in August, I plan to stitch as much as I can on the bottom half of the chart. My goal is to finish this by the end of the year and start Fire Goddess next January.

Great work, even with a sick day. It’s very much how I stitch, do as much of one colour in an area then move on to the next colour.
