This month I stitched 3 days on 12 Days of Christmas.  I finished the piper, stitched the drummer, finished the border(s), and started working with the gold metallic- many stitches in the dancing lady’s dress, drummer’s flags, etc… also one of the long horizontal border lines.

12 Days WIP 9-6-15

I also cleaned up all my parked threads so it’s a bit more presentable (and easier to backstitch).  Next time I’ll attempt to finish the metallic (lots of border lines) and do some backstitching.  After that, there are a gazillion french knots to do and a healthy smattering of beads.  Stitch Maynia is having a 12 Days of Stitchmas SAL starting Dec 25…. this piece would be perfect for it, obviously.  So I’ll give it the first weekends (2 days) of October and November, but I won’t stress about finishing it during the first weekend of December.  I can always finish it during the SAL.
