Happy Birthday Jo from Serendipitous Stitching!  Welcome to Jo’s Big Birthday blog hop.

1995 – Jo was 29.  Her love of cross stitch continued to grow with her daily commute to work being the perfect opportunity to indulge.  During this year she started to design her own charts for friends.  Unfortunately she did not photograph any of these pieces and only has the paper notes to remember them.  Her collection of stitching magazines started to grow as does her stash.  She also surprised her parents with a special design to celebrate their Pearl Wedding Anniversary.

In 1995, I was starting my sophomore year of high school.  Stitching was a fun and relaxing diversion; I even still have one of my pieces.  My academic “career” began to get serious, as I doubled down on science classes… a decision that eventually led to a lot of advanced classes, high class rank, and an academic scholarship to a particular university where I met my friend Eric, who later introduced me to my husband C.

Lastly here is one of my projects that I think Jo will like, since she loves stitching cute projects for Halloween.

Thanks for taking part in the Birthday Blog Hop. You were certainly doing some gorgeous stitching at a young age.
I do love the piece you’ve chosen, so much so that it is my Hallowe’en design for next year! What a coincidence!
