My 2nd of Angel Trilogy is complete!

Angelina FO

The pattern is fine, easy to read with excellent instructions.  I don’t mind stitching on perforated paper as long as I can mount it on my scroll frame (don’t worry, I’m not rolling it).  I did have one issue- I ran out of cream beads.  It wasn’t even close.  Thankfully I had some of the same color in my stash.

The only modification I made is the backstitching for her mouth- as charted, it is only a line, but I think that renders a rather severe look.  I backstitch around one square, as if her mouth is open, singing.

She will be fully finished as an ornament in time to decorate the tree this December.  Last year I stitched Gabrielle.  Next year I”ll do Seraphina, and I’m looking forward to stitching her, and completing the Angel Trilogy.

She is beautiful. I like her mouth this way, it makes more sense as she is playing an instrument.

Love Mill Hill kits. The biggest problem for me – sorting beads. Waste of precious time.

Lovely angel who does look like she’s singing now.
It’s very naughty about the beads, Mill Hill should know better!
