I used the last few days of February to finish Earth Goddess and fully finish my Noel Biscornu Ornie, to be blogged soon. My plan for the monthly ornaments is to blog several together. There’s only so much you can say about tiny ornies.

The first week of March, I started with Maiden and the Unicorn, my oldest WIP (2006). Previously:

Progress after 5 days:

My stitchy time was a bit limited as I also devoted some effort to knitting. Anyway, I stitched the borders up to the corners, and worked across from the left corner, to the right, just to make sure it matched up. Huge sigh of relief when it did! Then I decided I should backstitch on the lower half before continuing on the upper part of chart. The bottom border took about 4 hours to backstitch, but the detail is fantastic; it’s worth it.
Then I started a new project, a gift, which took 3 days to finish. To be blogged soon!
Fire Goddess had a brief turn on the scroll bars. Previous progress:

Over 2 days, I managed about 600 stitches. I worked mostly on the lower part of her dress and I did make to the edge of the chart, small mental victory.

1 day (and a late night), was enough to finish Tree Farm . It’s not a WIPocalypse project, but I love the finish.
Then I worked on Stoney Creek Summer bellpull. It took 4 days to finish!

Then King Arthur’s Court had a turn on the scroll bars. Previously:
After 6 days:

I am loving this project! New favorite WIP. The dragon is adorable. I did finish most of Guinevere and Lancelet up to the midline of the chart, and started Arthur and a bit of Merlin. Merlin’s robe, cloak, etc is more elaborate that Guinevere’s outfit! The crests were fun, I love the motifs. The framed picture on the right side will be a ship. There will be a castle on the other side.
March 20, I starting working on Aphrodite. I had allotted 5 days for her and that was enough to finish!

On the 25th, I started a chalkboard ornie, which may not get finished until April, we’ll see.
Question of the Month: What stitchy blogs, groups, or flosstubes do you follow and why? My favorite blog is probably Jo’s Serendipitious Stitching. She has such a great variety of projects, blogs frequently, holds special events, and generally adds a lot to the online stitching community. Favorite groups? On Facebook, I like Stitch Maynia, and my own group, Stitch from Stash, of course. Re: Flosstube, I am subscribed to hundreds (it seems like) but I lately I have been enjoying Belinda (Aussie Stitcher), Dena (half stitch cross stitch), Elizabeth (running stitch), and Jessie (Jessie Marie does stuff), just to name a few.
