I’ve decided to make this project a 2017 finish goal since I won’t finish Fall Fairy this year.

It doesn’t look like much progress for the time, eh?   Well, the “connection to the past” line was stitched and frogged several times, then finally stitched with rainbow gallery splendor silk in light marigold. If it needs more emphasis in the end, I will backstitch, no more frogging.  It was tricky because the font is so thin (just one stitch wide).   I wanted gold but it needs a strong color to stand out among all the jewel tones.  The next line, a gift for the future, is being stitched with Carrie’s creations silk in sassy.

So, I’m choosing my own colors and going for a unique one for each phrase (8 in all).  It’s fun but a lot more challenging than I expected!
