At the end of August, I worked on Winnie the Pooh for 2 days, blogged here , and used my bonus days, (after rotation goals), to eke out a finish on Fire Goddess
Fire Goddess HD
September started with Maiden & Unicorn.  I only managed 3 days because I was diamond painting and itching to start…
Remember WIP 9-20-17
Remember!, by the UK National Trust, 2 days effort on my coffee dyed 28 ct monaco.  This one is a 2017 finish goal.  It’s about half done now.

In the second week of the month, I rotated to Titania.  Previous progress:

Titania WIP 7-28-17

After 6 days:

Titania WIP 9-20-17I managed to get the bottom half done except for a few stitches in a blended color.  There is a lot of detail with all the leaves, etc.  I made a start the top half- her bodice and wings, arms.  Those wings are huge!

I decided to split the third week between Fall Fairy and Maiden & Unicorn.  Fall Fairy is no longer a 2017 finish goal, but I may as well work on her while she’s seasonal, and what do you know, she’s more fun to stitch once I removed the pressure.  Previous progress:

Fall Fairy WIP 8-7-17

After 5 days:

Fall Fairy WIP 9-20-17I finished most of the 2nd page, lots of sky, leaves, tree branches & trunk, a few butterflies, and fairy dust or whatever it’s supposed to be.

Now for Maiden & Unicorn.  Previous progress:

Maiden unicorn wip 6-25-17

Ater 6 days: Maiden Uni WIP 9-24-17

I worked across about half of the top border and did some backstitching on the side borders.  I stitched the blues on the flag, the unicorn’s horn and did some backstitching on the head & horn.  I also did some backstitching of the brocade pattern on the gown.

I devoted 2 more days to Winnie the Pooh.  Finally got a page finish!  And you can see the beginning of Pooh in the bottom right and his blue balloon just above.

Topic of the Month: Which floss (or color of floss) do you absolutely adore and want to stash constantly?  All of them!  Seriously, I have my favorites but I couldn’t tell you the color number.  What I love about stitching is the rainbow of colors and finding beauty in color and combinations I might not pick left to my own devices.

The check-in is rather early this month!  In the final week of September, I hope to work on (& finish) Remember!  and do some framing.  In October, my main rotation goals include King Arthur’s Court & I am a Stitcher (maybe a finish?) Titania and Maiden and Unicorn will get some time, too.  I also plan to make new starts: Mira’s Trick or Treat Fairy, and Through the Woods, another part of the Mill Hill Christmas Village.

Wow, I watched the video before I read the blog post!
Great progress on all your pieces this month, even with the early posting date. I am sure there will be a finish or two next month!
The border on the Maiden & the Unicorn is stunning, so much detail.
