I worked on Bird of Happiness, my Riolis kit of the Phoenix at the end of August.  It was a weird rotation month since did a lot of diamond painting and skipped one of my stitching wips, ending up with several “bonus” days at the end.

Previous progress from the end of May:

Bird Happ WIP 5-30-18

And now, after 5 days:

Bird Happiness WIP 8-30-18The stitching was so fun and I finished most of the bird’s tail!  There is just one color left to fill in and a few ninja stitches perhaps. I’d say the piece is over 50% finished now.   Even though it’s a little fussy with most of it done 3 over 1, the amazing colors make up for it.  Bird of Happiness may claim the spot of new favorite WIP.

The colours in this are stunning. It’s such an interesting idea with the printed fabric making the background so easy LOL
