I’m stitching her on Cascade belfast linen from Silkweaver (old).  This represesents about a month’s worth of effort.  The DMC cross stitching is almost complete, except for her upper body and head.  A lot of the blank areas are for metallic thread- this pattern calls for 2 spools of Kreinik #4 Braid in the 009 (vintage emerald) color.  So I have a headless mermaid for Halloween (hee!)   

I think I’ll put her away for now and work on some of my older WIPs for the rest of the year.  A finish for Unicorn Mystique may be attainable!
