Love2nurse teach coffee

The patterns were fine, though there is a misprint on the key for “Love 2 Teach”.  Each chart is small, involves around 7 colors, and only takes a few hours to stitch up.  I arranged them vertically (obviously) and left two stitches of negative space between each.  The charms are included with the charts and are really lovely and detailed.   I chose to use the fabric suggested by the pattern(s)…. you can’t do wrong with antique white, and I like jobelan.  This fabric has a funky smell though.  Thank goodness there’s time to air it out and it will be behind glass in a frame.

Love2nurse-framedI wouldn’t mind stitching more of these patterns; I’m considering a Halloween themed piece.

I really like your trio. They are fun stitches aren’t they? I need to stitch coffee again for me and might copy your idea with a trio. Thanks for sharing!

Those are cute! Do they actually belong together or are they supposed to go seperately? They do form a nice little picture of a sleepless night-nurse trying to teach future nurses in my head…

I agree with Leonore! That’s quite a specific combination. They look great framed vertically like that and the charms are so cute.

The double matting really brings out the colours. Good job!
