2018 was a good year, I started with 8 wips and ended with 4 (or 5, counting Mill Hill Village).  I had 15 starts & 19 finishes.  Most of the starts were small-ish.  I think I’ve finally disembarked the serial starting crazy train.  (No offense intended, if that’s your thing, but personally, the proliferation of wips with minimal progress makes me batty).  Going forward, the challenge will be to contain the wip count at a comfortable number.  My sweet spot is 8 or fewer WIPs, but ornaments may be an exception to the rule.

Enough, chit chat, let’s have some holiday pie and pretty pics!  Screen Shot 2018-12-28 at 2.26.27 PMThe pie chart looks pretty good.  Compared to last year, more than half the chart is large & medium pieces, which I prefer.

Thanks for coming along for the ride!  I’m so thankful to be part of the stichy community, I love all my friends in the blogosphere, flosstube, and many others I’ve connected with online and/or met at retreats and my local library meetups.  Best of luck in 2019 to everyone!

Well done on getting the WIPs down to a manageable level. That’s my plan over the next few years. I am doing well with the current projects but have too many very old ones (prior to 2015) which are quite large!
I love your Village and would like to do a Hallowe’en version.
I also need to do Finsih Pie!

Good for you on whittling down your WIPs pile! I enjoyed seeing your photo collages of your finishes. I look forward to seeing your stitching accomplishments during this new year. Enjoy your weekend!

You certainly did a lot of large and medium projects this year! Even most of your smalls (the Mill Hill village) are part of a much larger project. I’d love to get my WIP numbers as low as yours are, but I still have a long way to go!
